As Director of Supply Chain Logistics at FD Stonewater, Marty is focused on implementing successful end-to-end real estate solutions in the ever-changing manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain environment. With more than 20 years of experience in the international maritime shipping, intermodal, and logistics industry, Marty has held positions in terminal network operations and most recently directed the largest privately owned container terminal in the western hemisphere as Chief Operations Officer for APM Terminals in the Port of Los Angeles. Marty has also managed intermodal network design to reduce transit times and optimize supply chain efficiency and has considerable experience implementing lean process improvement management systems within large operating groups to create innovative environments that improve safety and maximize value. More recently, Marty has focused his career on the implementation of large-scale industrial automation to improve safety, increase efficiency, and employ data to expand value-added services. At FD Stonewater, Marty will support clients as they adapt to the evolving manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain environment.
Marty is a U.S. Army veteran and earned an undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of La Verne, California, an M.S. in intermodal logistics from the University of Denver, and he completed an executive management development program at Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
