U.S. Department of Justice
On behalf of ownership, FD Stonewater provided comprehensive construction management services for the renovation of the historic Bond Building in Washington, DC. Prior to the redevelopment, the FD Stonewater leasing team represented ownership for the long-term lease renewal for the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), the full-building government tenant. During that process, the construction management team worked closely with the leasing team and consulted on the scope of work and costs related to the in-place renovation. As a result, FD Stonewater was retained to oversee all tenant improvements to the 168,000 SF building after the lease award. FD Stonewater worked with ownership and the DOJ by presenting construction phasing plans and after-hours coordination for the occupied areas of the building which were critical components to the in-place renovation.
